Thymus vulgaris

In 2008 sown 21.3. Thyme has been happily overwintering on the border of the large dry bed for three winters already. This is the first try to grow them from seed myself. If it works out, all the dry beds will have this lovely evergreen herb at the border.

It worked out very well, still more needed though, to line all of the dry borders!

Family: Lamiaceae (lay-mee-AY-see-ee)
Genus: Thymus (TY-muss)
Species: vulgaris (vul-GAIR-iss)
